2000 Freightliner/ Smeal Engine 8 -  Pump is rated at 1,250 GPM and truck carries 1,000 gallons of water. This was the first engine in Oconee County to have a top-mount control panel and is much safer for the operator when on Interstate 85.  The front mounted suction allows easier setup for water shuttle, both at the dump site and fill sites.
1986 Ford/American Engine 8A - Pump is rated at 1,000 GPM and truck carries 1,000 gallons of water.  Engine 8A is designated as our first response unit on all structure fires in our district.
1965 Chevrolet/Howe Reserve 8 - Pump is rated at 500 GPM and truck carries 500 gallons of water.  Although old, this truck is still a great pumper.
2001 Freightliner/ KME Tanker 8 - Pump is rated at 300 GPM and truck carries 1,800 gallons of water.  This truck replaced a converted USAF fuel truck designed to carry 1,200 gallons of jet fuel (see next apparatus).
1967 Chevrolet Tanker 8A - Pump is rated at 250 GPM and truck carries 1,500 gallons of water.  Truck originally was a fuel delivery truck and was converted for fire department use.  This piece of apparatus was purchased from a neighboring department, Double Springs Fire Department.
1992 Ford This is a truck that was graciously donated by Coke thanks to efforts by Pat Masters.  Members have performed a great deal of work upgrading the truck for our use.  Major equipment on board include: 6 bottle 6,000 PSI Grade 'E' cascade, HazMat equipment, propane powered generator, mounted service air system, all NFPA & ISO required equipment for service company, PPV fans, Honda Lights, forcible entry tools, and many miscellaneous tools.
1977 GMC This is a 1977 beverage delivery truck.  Conversion was begun by another department.  Chassis is heavy duty with air brakes and easily hauls all the heavy equipment, including a surplus 10 KW diesel generator.  This unit is for sale and has been replaced by the truck above.
1974 Humvee Brush 8 is a Humvee on "permanent" loan from SC Forestry.  Much of the body work and painting had been completed by another department in the state.  We added the emergency equipment, tool boxes, tank, pump, lights, siren, brush guard, etc. The tank holds 325 gallons of water and is fitted with a 100 GPM pump and also has a remote nozzle thanks to a FEMA grant.
